Barkyard Savannah: Cancellation & Modification Policies
We understand that plans change. At Barkyard, we aim to provide flexibility where possible—while ensuring fairness to our team and other clients. Our cancellation policies reflect demand, staffing logistics, and the need for advance scheduling. Please read below to understand the specific terms for each service.
Daycare (Hourly, Daily, and Package Bookings)
Same-Day Cancellations:
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled visit will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
More Than 24 Hours Notice:
Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will be refunded in full or credited to your account.
No-Shows:
Clients who do not show up for a scheduled daycare session without any notice will be charged in full.
Package Hold Policy:
Daycare packages are non-refundable once activated
Boarding Services (Overnight Stays)
Cancellation Window:
72+ hours notice: Full refund or credit
48–72 hours notice: 50% refund or credit
Less than 48 hours: No refund
Holiday Periods (peak travel weeks):
Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled check-in will forfeit 100% of the deposit.
Deposits Required:
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking. Full payment is due at check-in. No-shows result in full forfeiture of payment.
Grooming
Grooming Appointments:
Cancel >24 hours before: No fee
Cancel <24 hours before: $15 cancellation fee
No-shows: 100% of grooming service charged
Barkyard Bus (Shuttle Service)
Daily Pickup/Drop-Off:
Must be cancelled by 7 PM the night before to avoid charges. Cancellations after that time will be billed at 50% of the fare (not to exceed $10).
Memberships (Recurring Plans)
Membership Pause:
You may pause your membership once per calendar year for up to 30 days. Must notify us via the app or email 7 days in advance.
Membership Cancellation:
Cancel anytime with before your next billing cycle to avoid charges. No retroactive refunds for unused days.
Important Notes
Credits expire 6 months after issuance.
Emergency or medical cancellations may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis with documentation.
All changes and cancellations must be submitted via the Barkyard App, email, or by calling during business hours.
Excessive cancellations may result in restricted booking privileges.
