DOG DAYCARE • PET BOARDING • GROOMING • SAVANNAH, GA
A place where your pet is known.
Daycare, boarding, grooming, and enrichment designed around your dog’s personality, comfort, and the way they actually like to spend their day.
PERSONALIZED PET CAREâ„¢
Daycare built around the dog in front of us.
No two dogs experience daycare the same way. We take the time to understand your dog’s personality, comfort level, energy, and play style—then shape their day around what helps them feel their best.
Curated playgroups
Dogs are thoughtfully grouped according to their size, temperament, energy, and preferred way of playing.
Balanced days
Play, enrichment, human connection, and scheduled rest create a healthier, more comfortable daycare experience.
People who know your dog
Our team pays attention to the small things, builds trust, and gets to know who your dog really is.

GETTING STARTED WITH DOG DAYCARE IN SAVANNAH
Their first day starts with a Sniff Test.
The Sniff Test is your dog’s first real day at Barkyard, not a quick pass-or-fail evaluation. It gives them time to meet our team, explore the environment, and become comfortable around the other dogs at their own pace.
We recommend a stay of five hours or more so we can learn their personality, play style, comfort level, and routines, and they have enough time to get to know us, too.
01
Create their profile
Register through our Parent Portal and provide your dog’s current information, care instructions, and vaccination records.
02
Spend the day with us
During their five-hour-or-longer visit, we introduce your dog gradually and observe their comfort, communication, energy, and social preferences.
03
Build their Barkyard routine
After their visit, we share what we learned and help determine the playgroup, enrichment, and care routine that suits them best.
ENRICHMENT • COMMUNITY • THOUGHTFUL CHOICES
Care that reaches beyond the play yard.
As a Savannah pet-care business, we believe better care includes creating joyful experiences for dogs, showing up for our community, and making practical, lower-impact choices whenever we can.
Fun worth looking forward to
Fun Fridays give dogs a new way to explore, create, move, or solve something each week—from agility and scent games to art projects and seasonal activities.
Progress over perfection
We’re not a zero-waste facility, but we make practical lower-impact choices where we can—from our electric Pup-Bus and plant-based cleaners to biodegradable gloves, compostable trash bags, bamboo paper products, and wheat-based cat litter.
Showing up for Savannah
You’ll find Barkyard participating in pet-friendly events, neighborhood gatherings, local partnerships, and programs that support pets and families throughout our community.

A better day for your dog starts with a better world around them.
-
We use pet-safe, environmentally conscious cleaning products that keep our spaces spotless without harsh chemicals—so your dog can play, rest, and breathe easy.
-
From reducing single-use items to rethinking everyday supplies, we’re always looking for small ways to cut down on waste without compromising care.
-
We prioritize eco-friendly materials whenever possible—from poop bags to paper goods—because the little choices add up.
-
Our responsibility doesn’t stop at our doors. The way we care for your dog reflects how we care for the world they explore beyond it—and we believe that should always go hand in hand.
-
We hold ourselves to a higher standard, because that’s what our dogs deserve. Every choice we make is guided by the kind of environment we’d want for them—and the kind you can feel good being part of.
-
The small decisions we make today shape the world our dogs grow old in. We choose to be thoughtful about that—because giving them a full, happy life means protecting the place they call home.
